Petra is the co-founder and director of the Budapest Institute (BI), a public policy research think tank; and a professor at the Corvinus University. The BI is engaged in evidence-based policy research across the EU Member States - with a special eye on open data and open science, IT-driven government efficiency, and public participation projects. The BI works across the public, civil, and academic sectors with various international partners (EC, EBRD, OECD, OGP, UNDP) and has a cutting edge in data-based analysis and evaluation based on its 15 years of cross-sectoral experience. Before the foundation of the Budapest Institute, Petra worked for the Ministry of Economy in Hungary, officially representing the country in various expert committees of the EU.
