Cities around the World

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The objective of this workshop is to showcase successful city level initiatives from around the world and to identify the challenges and yet unresolved problems, and focus on potential solutions for sub-national open government initiatives. In the first half of the session, we will use the speed-geeking format, while in the second half we will break down into smaller groups. We will identify solutions and initiatives from cities that had tangible impact in the past, and draw conclusions for both city officials and national level open government practitioners. Attendees will leave with a list of opportunities for next steps for local communities, and the conversation will hopefully also shape the ways in which OGP engages with subnational governments.
