We will OGP EU! - Towards a more active role for European Union and the Member States

The goal of the session is to identify concrete actions for a more active involvement in OGP of the European Union and the Member States.

The discussion will aim at finding answers on three major topics:

institutional involvement of EU in OGP
better coordination between Member States
using OGP to support the accessing plans of the candidate and Eastern Partnership countries

After a short keynote laying out the current status of OGP in Europe, this session will proceed with the audience divided into three smaller groups to discuss practical solutions to key issues. Facilitators will use the most important resulting proposals to formulate a call to action addressed to EU institutions and member states.
