This panel will have a discussion about the relevance of gender mainstreaming in access to information. That is, to analyze why it is important that the information generated by the state is disaggregated at least by sex to meet the differentiated impacts on men and women in public policies, legislation and court rulings. UNWomen will talk about the experience they have had in Mexico; Inmujeres will talk about successful efforts and obstacles, while GIRE will discuss about its experience on access to public information related to reproductive rights. Data 4 will show the ways in which information should be systematized so that it can be useful.
