Enabling the Data Revolution: An International Open Data Roadmap

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

More than 1000 participants from 56 different countries took part in the 3rd International Open Data Conference (IODC) in Ottawa from May 28-29, 2015 to understand the global impact of open data, coordinate action, and share best practices. Building on OGP Open data working group streams of work, the conference resulted in an International Open Data Roadmap.  Attendees will learn about the action steps the Roadmap and help us to create a responsive, needs-driven agenda for IODC 2016. We will also look ahead to regional collaborations such as Condatos and the African Open Data Conference as opportunities to focus on the needs of the international community in order to make the most of open data in the context of OGP and sustainable development in their own regions and organisations.
