This session will bring together experts from around the world (Latin America, Africa, and the United States) to compare experiences with redistricting. The panelists will reflect on emerging tools and methods, discuss the potential benefits of including open data policies in the process of boundary delimitation, and core requirements for facilitating broad participation and transparency. Here is a brief description of the Public Mapping Project Mexico and its objectives and here you can watch a short video of District Builder.
